joelladam Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 There's this girl i met online(on fb actually),we've been chating for like a week plus now and this have been going smoothly. Last night, i asked her to tell me about herself and she asked why did i wanna know about her? I really like this girl, i mean i'm falling in love with her. So i think this is the defining point, where i either get out of the friend-zone or remain locked in that penetentiary.. Please what am to say?
Lois_Griffin Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 Wait - you 'met' some girl on Facebook, and have been messaging back and forth for a little over a WEEK and you're 'falling in love' with her? What happens at the one MONTH point - you ask her to marry you? Back off. You're acting incredibly creepy over someone you've never even met in PERSON and don't know at all. And if her reaction to you asking her to tell you about herself was, "why do you want to know about me?" then that clearly means she does NOT see you in any possible romantic light at all. Back off. You sound like a stalker. 2
basil67 Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 "Why do you want to know about me?" Could also be her fishing for you to tell her that you are wanting to know her better. Perhaps on a date. But I agree that you're rushing. This early on is a crush. Love doesn't happen till we truly know a person. How about you suggest that you get to know her better on a date? At least you'll get to fine out if she's interested or not. 1
