This guy that I was seeing about a year & a half ago, the only guy that's ever ghosted me before will still periodically message me out of nowhere saying hi or that he misses talking to me. What the heck is up with that? Who does that? I didn't even know the term ghosting until I met this douche bag. Of course I'm ignoring him, but what would motivate someone to do this? Bored? Lonely? Horny? He should've kept seeing me when he had the chance over a year ago.

Keep ignoring him. He has obviously mistaken you for some sappy, pathetic female who would jump at the chance to be with him. Guys like this aren't worth one second of your time. He's just plain stupid.

Women do it too. I reckon it comes down to ego. They don't really want to know about you, they just want to know they still have an affect on you. Any response is taken as an ego boost and then they go back to quiet again. You do the right thing in ignoring as no good comes from replying to them, you just end up getting left in the dark once the ego fix has been received.

That's what I thought, that it was an ego thing. This guy is also a former cop, so lots of ego involved, and very controlling and dominating!

Ewwww. I absolutely REFUSED to date cops when I was single. Can't stand them.

Block his ass.
