js_77 Posted July 23, 2016 Posted July 23, 2016 My girlfriend doesn't take birth control, We had sex without condom but I didn't ejaculate inside her but now she doesn't want to take the morning after pill because she think it's abortion! What should I do? We had a huge fight about this!
ses Posted July 23, 2016 Posted July 23, 2016 Explain to her that the morning after pill is NOT RU-486 (the abortion pill) but a pill that simply prevents ovulation. If an egg has already been fertilized and implants in the uterus, the pill will not cause a miscarriage. Plan B is $50, OTC and A LOT cheaper than a baby or an abortion. Please use condoms or invest in another contraceptive method. Insurance covers most types and the copay is either negligible or free. If you're old enough for sex then you're old enough to act responsibly and take control of your sex life. 3
Ami1uwant Posted July 23, 2016 Posted July 23, 2016 I am not a doctor but I recently stayed at a holiday inn express..... There is no guarantee of getting pregnant even without a car ndom use. You say you didn't go inside her but some pre stuff likely did. There is a woman's cycle that goes around 28 days. There is around a 7 day period in that where pregnancy is more more likely than other times.
CryForNoOne Posted July 23, 2016 Posted July 23, 2016 If she refuses start using a condom or get a new GF. This is a serious deal breaker. trust me... 5
losangelena Posted July 23, 2016 Posted July 23, 2016 The short answer is that she COULD be pregnant, but if you didn't cum inside her, the chance is small. For the record, the morning after pill isn't the same as getting an abortion. The morning after pill helps prevent a pregnancy from occurring. It helps avoid the need for an abortion later. I hasten to ask: how old are y'all? Please educate yourselves on the ins and outs (no pun intended) of safe sex. Either she needs to get on birth control, you need to wear condoms, or she needs to read up on emergency contraception. You're both responsible for the choices you make. 2
elaine567 Posted July 23, 2016 Posted July 23, 2016 My girlfriend doesn't take birth control, We had sex without condom but I didn't ejaculate inside her but now she doesn't want to take the morning after pill because she think it's abortion! What should I do? We had a huge fight about this! Yes, she can get pregnant. Is there a reason she is not on the Pill, you don't use condoms and she refuses the morning after pill? Sounds like the perfect storm. Welcome baby js_77 anytime soon. 4
JoeSmith357-1 Posted July 23, 2016 Posted July 23, 2016 If you didn't cum inside her, the chances of her getting pregnant are low. So called "pre-cum", the stuff that oozes out of your dick while you bang to lubricate has little to no sperm in it. The so called "pull out" method is pretty effective. It does nothing against STD's, but it's effective self-imposed birth control. 1
longjohn Posted July 23, 2016 Posted July 23, 2016 My girlfriend doesn't take birth control, We had sex without condom but I didn't ejaculate inside her but now she doesn't want to take the morning after pill because she think it's abortion! What should I do? We had a huge fight about this! There's a very easy answer for this.. wear a condom because if you get her knocked up your on the hook for life! Plus it's always nice to get and/or spread std's. 1
gorf Posted July 23, 2016 Posted July 23, 2016 Yeah I get the not wanting an aborting. I agree with that. But, the morning after pill is not an abortion pill. As the first guy to reply said, and I have known for a long time, it only suppresses ovulation
elaine567 Posted July 23, 2016 Posted July 23, 2016 It all depends on how correctly the withdrawal is done as to how effective a means of contraception it is. Effectiveness is an important and common concern when choosing a birth control method. Like all birth control methods, the pull out method is much more effective when you do it correctly. Of every 100 women whose partners use withdrawal, 4 will become pregnant each year if they always do it correctly. Of every 100 women whose partners use withdrawal, 27 will become pregnant each year if they don't always do it correctly. Couples who have great self-control, experience, and trust may use the pull out method more effectively. Men who use the pull out method must be able to know when they are reaching the point in sexual excitement when ejaculation can no longer be stopped or postponed. If you cannot predict this moment accurately, withdrawal will not be as effective. Even if a man pulls out in time, pregnancy can still happen. Some experts believe that pre-ejaculate, or pre-cum, can pick up enough sperm left in the urethra from a previous ejaculation to cause pregnancy. If a man urinates between ejaculations before having sex again, it will help clear the urethra of sperm and may increase the effectiveness of withdrawal. Pregnancy is also possible if semen or pre-ejaculate is spilled on the vulva. Keep in mind that the withdrawal method does not protect you from sexually transmitted diseases. Use a latex condom or female condom to reduce the risk of infection. - See more at: https://www.plannedparenthood.org/learn/birth-control/withdrawal-pull-out-method#sthash.ExyMaWdP.dpuf 1
preraph Posted July 23, 2016 Posted July 23, 2016 If she's so stupid (or sneaky) she won't use birth control with a guy who isn't even committed much less ready to have a baby, break up with her. Refuse to have sex without a condom. Of course she can get pregnant! If there were some foolproof way to not get pregnant and still have sex, why would birth control drugs be anything anyone would ever pay for. There's a lot of ignorance out there about "natural" birth control, but it's nonsense and the only way to not get someone pregnant without utilizing birth control is by not having sex. Anything else is very risky. Your girlfriend is irresponsible. Do NOT trust her with birth control even if she says she's using it because this is deliberate on her part. 6
ExpatInItaly Posted July 23, 2016 Posted July 23, 2016 Is there a reason she isn't on another type of contraceptive? If she refuses that, condoms and the Morning-after pill, you two are playing with fire. 1
PogoStick Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 My girlfriend doesn't take birth control, We had sex without condom but I didn't ejaculate inside her but now she doesn't want to take the morning after pill because she think it's abortion! What should I do? We had a huge fight about this! Break up and never have sex with her again. 90% chance she's not preggo. Don't take any more chances. 1
AndOrchid Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 Why did you have sex without a condom if you knew she wasn't on other birth control? The morning after pill is not an abortion pill but it is also NOT a pill you should use regularly after sex. It is meant as last resort/emergency contraception and not as an alternative for condoms. Chances are low that she's pregnant, but bottom line is, if pregnancy is something you're not ready for you should use condoms. 1
Lois_Griffin Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 Why did you have sex without a condom if you knew she wasn't on other birth control? EXACTLY. You seem to think the ONLY one responsible for contraception is HER. You either stop being selfish and start being responsible and use a condom, or abstain from having sex all together until you CAN be a responsible adult. Now you KNOW her stance on abortion. You'd better get real smart real quick and hope you got lucky this time. 2
Author js_77 Posted July 24, 2016 Author Posted July 24, 2016 We had sex I didnt ejaculate inside her and she was in her period, so I think the chances of pregnancy are low!
AndOrchid Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 Then why are you having a huge fight trying to convince her to take plan B? 1
preraph Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 We had sex I didnt ejaculate inside her and she was in her period, so I think the chances of pregnancy are low! WHAT? You think because once you didn't get pregnant that now you can't get her pregnant? You need to read some books on sex and reproduction because you are terribly naive. Penises often leak before ejaculation. That's why pulling out isn't a reliable method.
blackcat777 Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 OP, you can still get a girl pregnant on her period if her cycle is short or if she ovulates early. 2
SensitiveTJ Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 Amazing that the most well-educated generation in history, with all the acquired knowledge of the human race only a click away, and we still don't know how babies are made. Ain't that something.
elaine567 Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 Is this the same gf who has been married twice before? Why is she not on any form of birth control? Does she want to get pregnant?
