Larnica Posted June 29, 2005 Posted June 29, 2005 Hey Everyone Im a 16 year old male and im about 14stone + a half , I have alot fo Stretch marks on my stomach and on m,y sides, they were purple and now they have gone white , Im loosing weight and hopefully I will get down a few stone , I have the willpower etc and I eat Healthy now and do A good amount of exercise. Due to me being young do you reckon these marks will fade and you wont be able to see them because im young and my skin is good I guess. I find it kind fo embarassing , I Dont go into swimming pools an more , And i hope to in a few months . maybe even around christmas . I would just like some support and wondering if they would go so fine that only if you went up real close you could see them , I know my skin is scared for life basically , But because m only 16 and stil lgrowing , Do i have a better chance they will go and hardly noticable? Any help would be so great. Thanks In Advance SHANE
scrdstar Posted June 29, 2005 Posted June 29, 2005 You could try using cocoa butter but I think that is primarily to avoid getting the stretch marks (ex: durring pregnancy). However, you can get stretch marks from loosing weight too quickly as well so it might be a good preventative tactic to try anyway. I got them when I was about your age from loosing weight too quickly and they haven't gone away. I wouldn't worry too much about it though. Just concentrate on getting yourself in good shape and try not to be too self conscious. People probably don't notice them as much as you think.
Author Larnica Posted June 29, 2005 Author Posted June 29, 2005 T've talked to an nurse who specialise's in skin and the nurse said because of my age they said they will be so small ppl wont reconise them inless people look really close , thats if i start loosing weight now
