Ha! Trust me, being 35, already divorced, and the end of the only serious relationship I've had since that I honestly don't think it means we're destined to be together. It literally was just coincidence after coincidence. But I felt rotten about it.

I remember when I ended with my cheating ex -- a few days later I was at the grocery store looking like death and out of all the store clerk's, this one guy approached me to ask if I needed help and I looked at his name tag and it was my ex's name. Stab #1. I head out and I see a car just like his and my heart jumps and the license plate is a shortened version of his name. Stab #2. Jump in the car and get home sobbing. Decide to turn on the TV and distract myself and the credits to a movie was scrolling on the TV screen and there is his name again. Oh my god! It's a sign. Destiny! It wasn't. Just a coincidence. But it took me awhile to accept that -- it really felt great when I hardly noticed it anymore. That's when you know you're moving on.

We've all been there. I think it's heightened because ex is on the brain but when you've moved on, you hardly ever pay attention.

This will pass. You're going to get through it.
