I ask her out and she said she's busy. Should I try again next week?

We met up for drinks last week. Things went great. Today, I asked her what she is up to. She said she was about to go to work and get off around 9 or so.

I then say, I'd love to take you out tonight, but I will be at work. When are you free to meet up for drinks later this week? She said she is going to be working all week. I told her “I’d like to see her, but if she is working all week, then we just do it some other time?” She hasn’t respond to me yet.

Should I wait until next week to ask her out again? If she blow me off again then move on?

dude,

Don't ask a woman out for that night.

ask in advance.

Was that first meet-up a date? If so, why didn't you ask then for another date? If not, give her a weekend option. I would ask again and if no response, let it go.

Sounds like you got shot down, game over man!

If she was interested in you she would say "I have to work that day, how bout this other day?"

You should have said, "I'd like to take you to X place, on X day at X time". Don't leave it open ended. Not, "then we just do it some other time". That's drippy.

You did it the way you did it, so just call her at the end of this week if you don't hear from her first and then call her with a specific plan. If she declines or is wishy, washy you leave it be and ask someone else for a date at X place, on X day, at X time.

Everyone works all week . . . so this one is probably moving on, but one more try won't hurt anything. Ten more times would.

I am going to sound like a lawyer now...lol, but "we can just do it some other time" is vague and ambiguous.

Next time, give her a specific day or just leave the *do it another time* out. It sounds too evasive.

Ask her what days are good for her.

Normally I would say move on, but it wouldn't hurt to give another call, with a specific day to go out. If she is busy that day, ideally she will suggest an alternative day.

If not, simply say *no worries, give me a buzz when you're free.". And leave it at that.

Do not contact again after that .. ball is in her court.
