I believe I could show her the affection she deserves indefinitely if she were to give me another chance down the road. I know this is something I must do not for getting her back but for ANY relationship I may get into in the future. NO ONE would stay with a guy who shows no affection OR makes them feel unappreciated.(at least no one that was worth a damn) So that is the bottom line, I know I can correct my issues.. It seems she has some feelings in her heart for me (or I imagine she would cut me out completely instead of keeping me on FB and poking me) I just need to keep working on bettering myself and if she comes around it will be a win-win for both of us.. If not I will have evolved into a much better man for my next partner.

That's a healthy attitude. I too fell into the not appreciating / not showing affection. I had a lot of time to think why and the impact it had on her.

Nothing is 100% your fault, but we can change the things we want to change. Either it will allow us to get back with our ex'es or it will make us better for the next girl.

If you're intent on getting back with her, you have to show her how you changed. Saying you changed is not going to do it.

Be forewarned though, if you decide to try and get her back it is an uphill battle with limited success and will prolong your suffering. I'm 2 months in and still not back.

SevenCity: when you say you are 2 months in, are you 2 months into the breakup?, 2 months into NC? or 2 months into actually talking to your ex and trying to make it work? Just curious as our situations seem similar.
