So my girlfriend broke up with me 24 days ago saying that she needed a "break", she's 19 and im 22. It was her first serious relationship of 2 years. I called her last week after she had msgd me to catch up cause I thought there may have been a chance of us getting back together and she just said no not at the moment, but says she still has feelings for me and always will. I told her that I will probably never speak to her again. Now I'm worried that I never will and that she will never speak to me again. Basically I've tried so hard to do NC and move on but I really want her back still. Any advice guys?

You got two choices... but you know that right?

You can stick with NC and wait for her to come to you... this is a good idea given that she did the breaking up. She cares about you but probably needs some space and some time out.

Or you can contact her, in which case you will probably resort to asking her to get back with you; telling her you love her; and that you are happy to be 'just friends'. This may drive her away and it may not make you look too strong and desirable....

But its your choice.

There are some super great threads here on this very issue - try the NC: The Long Walk thread. A few other posters know of the best ones, hopefully they can suggest them to you.

Sorry this has happened to you, I know its hard but have a browse around and get some advice offered to others. You will also get a feel for what worked and what didn't work.

Good luck.

stick with NC, I know, trust me , I know how hard it is, but your dragging it on in your own heart. If she really cares she will be back, but she will know your desperate & it could push her away more, pick yourself up dust yourself off & go try your darndest to forget! GL
