Springsummer Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 Mick Jagger becoming a dad again at 72 - CNN.com Just saw this, and I am floored. What is wrong with this woman? is fortune and fame really that mighty? 1
Author Springsummer Posted July 16, 2016 Author Posted July 16, 2016 Life is so unfair. A male can still be a dad over 70, while a woman generally can't be a parent over 50.
Author Springsummer Posted July 16, 2016 Author Posted July 16, 2016 can you imagine a 72 old woman with a 29 old man?
Tiger Lily Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 Life is so unfair. A male can still be a dad over 70, while a woman generally can't be a parent over 50. Just because they can doesn't mean they should. He'll be 90 when the child reaches adulthood...if he makes it that far (hopefully he does!). Plus, some studies show that there is a greater likelihood of mental health or developmental disorders (like Autism) with an older father, or especially if there is a large age-difference between partners. 2
Els Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 I really hope for the child's sake that they turn out okay. While women have a 'distinct cutoff' after which they can't have children and men don't, it's been scientifically proven that advanced age in BOTH parents increases the risk of genetic disorders. I personally think it's incredibly irresponsible for a 72-yo to father a child, same as how I think it's irresponsible to have children if you have Huntington's or any other sort of inheritable and incurable fatal disease. As for the age difference, well. Whatever floats their boat, she's an adult and it's her choice. 4

Author Springsummer Posted July 16, 2016 Author Posted July 16, 2016 OK. so we all agreed and concluded on one thing: this famous Jagger is an irresponsible person. I also thinks it's immoral for a man to sleep with someone that's much younger than his daughter. it's their lives so def. not my business...but I do entitled to have opinion, right? 1
dreamingoftigers Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 I just didn't know there was that much Viagra in one place to make that possible. 3
MidwestUSA Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 I think I'd rather have Steven Tyler's kid. How can I pull this off? 2
Poutrew Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 Same thing with the actor Tony Randall. Fathered a kid in his 70's. He is dead now, but from what I read, his kids are healthy and rich... not a bad legacy to leave for his children. Also, sometimes I think that once the male reproduces, maybe it is better to just die and get out of the way, kinda like salmon... 2
MidwestUSA Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 Also, sometimes I think that once the male reproduces, maybe it is better to just die and get out of the way, kinda like salmon... Or praying mantises. 3
Poutrew Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 Or praying mantises. Yep. Or like black widow spiders. Is it just bad luck that the female black widow spider usually rips the head off the male after she mates with him and eats it? Or, as I suspect, does the male spider actually want to be eaten and actually lets the female spider kill and eat him? Every now and then, a male spider turns and runs away, but this is the exception that proves the rule... maybe those boy spiders who take the hit actually know something the rest of us 'higher mammals' don't.
Lois_Griffin Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 I'm sure the ONLY sound this 29 year old is hearing right now is, "CHA-CHING!" She hit the mother lode.
Radu Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 Mick Jagger becoming a dad again at 72 - CNN.com Just saw this, and I am floored. What is wrong with this woman? is fortune and fame really that mighty? Probably a mix of things. Daddy issues ? Wants to have a kid anyway, and one with a famous guy is better ? Money guy who will make sure her kid is well taken care of ? The question is, what is wrong with him. It's one thing to accidentally have a child at those ages, but i don't believe for a second this one was accidental. Mick Jagger is a total prick. 1
Author Springsummer Posted July 16, 2016 Author Posted July 16, 2016 Money talks. if you have the means, you can live however it pleases you. Responsibility and appropriateness are for 'losers'.

Damn, I guess I should have some resentment towards my parents then
bathtub-row Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 Mick Jagger becoming a dad again at 72 - CNN.com Just saw this, and I am floored. What is wrong with this woman? is fortune and fame really that mighty? Yes it is. I also have to ask what's wrong with him? The whole thing is pretty gross if you ask me.
