Mark1 Posted July 13, 2016 Posted July 13, 2016 I am a waiter at a restaurant and met a fun couple one evening. The restaurant was closing so we were the only ones there, so we talked a while. She tipped me 40%. A couple of months later I see her again, she told me she isn't seeing him anymore, it only lasted a few dates. She then proceeded, over the course of about 15 minutes, to take a selfie of us, post it on her Instagram and ask for my number. She was very handsy and gave me hugs at the bar etc. By the time I got home she had added me on Facebook and Snapchat. I texted her saying we should get drinks/dinner sometime and she said "that sounds good but Im not your cougar, haha!" (She is 34 and I'm 27). Should I ask her out or was she just being friendly?
CryForNoOne Posted July 13, 2016 Posted July 13, 2016 It's possible she was just flirting with you to boost her self confidence, but I'd guess she is interested. Don't give up so easy. You really have nothing to lose...
AMJ Posted July 13, 2016 Posted July 13, 2016 She's interested. The girl who does my hair defined being a cougar as: -When you're at least ten years older than the guy, you're a cougar -If you're between 5-10 years older and still in your 20s or 30s, you're a puma (baby cougar) - If you're over 40, and the guy is younger, you're finally a cougar Her response sounded like she needs reassurance for some reason. What did you reply?
DC77 Posted July 13, 2016 Posted July 13, 2016 Though I hardly think 34 is cougar age, that kitty is on the prowl! And she sounds like trouble. Probably burns through men quickly and needs constant attention. And guys fall for it... But if you're into that. Ask her out. All she can do is say yes or no.
