Theory Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 We broke up over a month ago and had no contact until a few days ago, when I texted her saying I wanted to talk. I miss her, apologized and told her I regret breaking up with her, and wanted to talk. She said that this was unexpected and that she'd need some time to think before talking to me. This was a few days ago and I haven't heard from her. Should I wish her a happy birthday today, or maintain the silence until she contacts me?

Did you break up before or is this the first time? I myself have broken up with my ex at least 4-5 times but I always got back to her prior her birthday. This one I'll miss for sure as it is already the end but if you guys still have your bridge up then you can.

Especially towards the end. This is the first time we broke up, we were together about a year. We broke up because we were fighting a lot, but lately I've been wondering if they are things we can move past and reconcile possibly.

Tell her Happy Birthday but don't go with anything else just that. Don't go like happy birthday what do you think now can we talk I want us to talk please lets meet up... just tell her Happy Birthday and that's it. Then NC! If she wants to she will get back to you! Don't reply to a Thank You reply wait for her to initiate a real discussion else NC! 1
