mortensorchid Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 I've noticed this has happened in the recent past. Sometimes you are chatting with people and you try to ask them questions about themselves, just getting to know you type of things. I've noticed with some women I've been chatting with, they sometimes would get angry with me if I offered things that I am doing (and it's rather harmless stuff like going to the movies or going to a bar for a drink). I find they get jealous of what I am doing with my time. And some men? If I ask them what they are/did this weekend, some of them immediately mention that they have a gf or they are not interested in me that way. Some I have pointed out directly saying "I was asking you what you were doing this weekend because I am trying to start a conversation with you. I am not asking you out." Then they immediately say "Oh, sorry" and then they can have a conversation with me. Has anyone ever experienced this? I have since found this to be an issue with me. Sometimes I don't understand people. Some have said that I am not that friendly towards others when they first meet me, but sometimes I say that's the breaks because of people's reactions as such. Distance must exist, I find, between you and others.
amaysngrace Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 Guys like talking about sports, women and cars...not what they did over the weekend unless there was a really great game on.
