JuneJulySeptember Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 I'm dating a woman and just started calling her my girlfriend when talking to others. The label doesn't really matter to me, it's just a way to tell people what I did over the weekend. "I went to the beach with my friend ... I went out for tapas with my friend ... I spent all weekend with my friend." gets old after a while. So, I've lost track of how many times we've had sex, but it's at least 10, we hold hands in public often, she has said she likes me a lot, and has invited me to hang out with her friends (though it didn't happen). Do you think she agrees? Does it even make sense to ask officially? I haven't asked before. Either the woman has asked me or in one case it was a drawn out "I'd rather not be 'official' but I want all the benefits of being 'official' like you paying for dinner and drinks sort of deal..."
Author JuneJulySeptember Posted July 8, 2016 Author Posted July 8, 2016 Yes ask. It's best to be sure. Trust me on this. I'll have an interesting decision to make if she says no. This is the one time in my life I actually expect a woman to say yes. 1
Imajerk17 Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 (edited) I agree w the others. Tell her you'd like to be boyfriend-girlfriend. She's probably wondering and stressing herself at least as much if all this means you are her boyfriend Edited July 8, 2016 by Imajerk17 2
