I have a rare minor disfigurement (type of scarring).

If I try online dating, when/how should I reveal my situation?

I want to be transparent. Should I say something in my profile, or not?

Also, know of any good (legit/active) online dating sites for people like myself?

I'm currently in the Facebook support group. It's nice cause there's a lot of like minded perspectives.

I would certainly love to meet/connect/date someone IRL with my condition, but it's a rare condition, so I don't really come across people who have it.

To give an opinion, I need to know how big it is, what color it is, where on your body it is and what it resembles texturally.

I think it depends, but sooner rather than later. Depends on how much conversation there is prior to meeting. Some people talk a lot before meeting and some people meet right away. My ex had a double mastectomy (no reconstruction) and she told me on the first date, which I thought was perfect.
