longjohn Posted July 3, 2016 Posted July 3, 2016 I recently broke up with my gf and just last week I was in a week long class. I bumped into another lady. She's about 8 years older than me, divorced with no children and very attractive and lives a good 2 hours away. Anyway during the week we got quite close and spent the night together. No we did not have sex believe it or not. We couldn't even if we wanted to. We talked a lot, had dinner and no alcohol. What attracted both of us to each other was conversation (and my cunning sense of style lol) we just clicked. Actually what attracted me to her at first was the fact she's in the same field as I workwise, tall, slim and very pretty, intelligent and self sufficient. Said she hasn't dated in a while as she works quite a bit. We think very much the same on many, many levels to the point of finishing each others sentences at times. It's really freaky or she's great at reading people and is out for all the money I don't have. I googled her of course and what she told me checks out. But.. here's the but I don't want a bunch of hormones in my head and loins getting me into trouble and have to be honest with myself. Is this a rebound? Is this for real? Would that age gap even work? I mean we just met. Am I over my ex.. Yes I am as I had 0 guilt being with another woman actually I found it really flattering she wanted to be with me.
