Coollaxer Posted July 2, 2016 Posted July 2, 2016 I feel like I'm too sensitive. I always cry or tear up if em and my girlfriend tend to talk about what will happen if we break up. Being that she is going to college soon we have talked about it but aren't planning on breaking up obviously. But she try's to stay realistic with us staying together when she goes to college. I feel like it's a turn off that I cry about that so often when we talk about it.. whar do you think? 1
Zapbasket Posted July 2, 2016 Posted July 2, 2016 If crying about the prospect of your relationship ending is a "turn-off" for your gf, then you are with the wrong gf. My ex from 2007 said to me after a year or so of dating, "You light up my whole life." He was crying when he said it, because he was thinking about how much it meant to him to have me and how sad he would feel to lose me. It touched me so much at the time, and even all these years later, even after him ultimately breaking up with me in a very cruel way and telling me he never wanted to see or speak to me again, that memory is a happy spot in my heart. Your tears simply are an expression of how much this girl, and your relationship, mean to you. It's really sweet, and you shouldn't feel ashamed about it at all. 3
Satu Posted July 2, 2016 Posted July 2, 2016 You are not too sensitive. You love your girlfriend, and the thought of parting is sad. Take care. 1
