I always feel hot and cold on these sites! I can't stand the flakes, the no chemistry in person, guys that just message endlessly that have no interest in meeting up, guys that update their profile pics continuously after 5 dates. Give up or try to meet men he old fashion way?

I think they are. I've had pretty much the same experiences as you.

i gave up on OLD and i suggest to meet men the old fashioned way ...it's still possible

it seems to me many men just want to stay single as they are sooo busy collecting pictures or simply make it a game . The older ones want younger ones the younger ones want older ones uurrrgghh :lmao:... they are constantly claiming how they wish to have a serious relationship ...yet ...

Online dating....or really just dating in general is definitely hot and cold.

As a guy i have seemingly had pretty decent luck online. But i stay positive about it, if i meet someone and don't click i dont get down, or worry about it. Just a experience.

Well I would think most people turn to online dating because they have trouble meeting people in real life. If you're not one of those people, well then I can only tell you that online dating is definitely NOT easier.

I look back on my online dating years with a smile.

I had so many dates, sometimes 2 different dates with 2 different men on same day. I went out with hot men, younger men, interesting men, smart men. A big bunch of them were not serious, a big bunch of them were a bit of a weirdo, a few of them broke my heart :-)

It lasted a total of 3,5 years before I finally met my current boyfriend and it turned into a lasting relationship.

Was it all a waste of my time? no. I have never viewed it as such.

It was an adventure in which I discovered myself, life, men, relationships, my boundaries, etc.

If you feel it's a waste of time it's because you take it too seriously and you're forgetting the first rule which is to have fun.

I don't know if OLD is worth much at all. I also don't know if the old ways are the best either. Because when I meet someone online it doesn't go anywhere. And when I meet someone otherwise it also doesn't. It's what it is. It seems to me that people somehow meet and grab onto the first available person who comes along, after they have thrown me over for something subpar. But that's another thread...

I guess it's what it is.
