The_Dork_Lard Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 I'm 11 months post breakup, and 4 months no contact. The last 2 weeks I realised I hit that holy grail place of acceptance, and look back fondly rather than with sorrow. It was only yesterday I thought "whoa, I'm actually over her". I've also felt as if I'm very near to the point of being able to love again. Lo and behold she just text me out of the blue, tried to ring, then text me twice more - all in 20 minutes! She's basically prying into how my life's going. Why the hell has she contacted me at almost the precise moment I realised I was over her?
Rainah Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 Have you posted anything publicly on social media which she might have seen such as a picture of you having fun or posted a status update?

Isn't it funny how when you have a breakthrough in recovery that they can sense it and that's the moment they contact you? I've been there, and it drives you mad... no reason to look into it, though. Either things didn't work out so she's still seeing if you're available, or she's just lonely. Tread carefully, but I suggest not to tread at all.
