Will people only meet others on dating sure if they get to see them on Snapchat first

I don't have snapchat or kik and guys have been asking me if I do. Will they only meet me if they can see me on 1 of these first? Do I have go to get 1 of those?

You don't have to get one if you don't want to. If they are making you jump through hoops, walk away and wish them well with their endeavours.

You of course don't have to get it, but what would be the harm in doing so?

 

I no longer online date, but when I did, I would sometimes Snapchat with a guy. Why? To confirm his identity, to see if he looked like his picture and to get a more moving, breathing, talking sense of him so that I would know more of what to expect on the date.

 

I think it can be a great thing. But I'm sure you can still find guys who won't care about it. Also, if you do get it, be careful of guys who are asking because they want you to send them nudes or sexual snaps on there.

In my experience if guys online ask if you have snapchat or kik they just want dirty pictures. I don't fall for it. I'm not that type of girl and they just want a quick thrill.

Idk, I'm a little apprehensive of meeting up with a lass I've never seen together except from one or two pics. If she's willing to share her FB or Instagram or something I'm ok with it. I just want a bit more confidence in her being who she says she has. About a month ago I went on a date with a lass from OkCupid and looked nothing like her profile - on her profile she was a tall blonde, in reality she was a short brunette - nothing wrong with that, but it was clear she wasn't the same person!

 

There are alternatives to Snapchat, I'd be a little concerned if the guy would only accept seeing you on Snapchat haha.
