Recent Loss

I had to put my cat down tonight. I'm pretty broken up about it. I know things will get better, but right now it really sucks. My mom has also become attached to the cat, and the cat used to follow her around my property like a dog

 

I had my little black cat four about four years - she was a stray that was taken in by a shelter in the state where I used to live. I got her for my ex wife, but I ended up with both of our cats in the divorce process. Losing my cat kind of drags up all those old memories which doesn't help. I tried telling myself that things like this just happen, but it's the hardest thing I've done in a long time. I've lived alone since the divorce, with the cats being my only companions in my house.

 

Sometimes I feel like I don't ever really get over losses, they just stack up and remind me of other losses and compound the problem.

So sorry to hear about your loss ...it is always hard to lose a beloved Pet .

Nothing lives forever and its a fact of life that at some point we must let go . it is a really painful experience so i know how you feel at the moment . My beloved Cat was poisoned beginning of this month and i miss him badly ... at times i feel Pets make better friends than humans sometimes ...
