I decided to shorten it.

We've been dating for 8 years.

We both have some issues with our mental state.

In a high stressed situation I was broken up with by Note.

She has ceased all communication with me and I am not able to contact her.

In my spare time I am working on myself and the issue she had related in the letter. Basically I was extremely depressed and so was she.

Is it possible to re connect and get back together? We were generally a happy couple.

How long since you two broke up? Also, if both of you had mental issues, then it's probably better that you fix it before even trying again. What's the point of going back to something if you were/are both depressed?

Nothing is ever set in stone. You don't know what the future holds. If there's a chance? Nobody can tell you that for sure. Just don't go living your life waiting for that. What you can do for now is work on your problems and yourself so you can become someone better. :)

It has been a little over 3 weeks now.

My plan is not going back to that relationship, but rather starting a new one with the same person after a bit of time.

Only after I fix my issues, I have identified and found a solution for mine and fortunately it does not require medication or anything like that.

Just kind of hoping for another shot at it. We had a great long run that's for sure. But I know she was super stressed when it all happened. Right now even she's just kind of repressing it all.

Wight, that's completely normal to think, but don't rely on that. 3 weeks is still so short, no wonder you still want another shot at it. However, with time you may change your mind, or even meet someone nicer. You'll only know when a long time pass, like a year or more. For now focus on yourself and healing; let time give you the rest.
