Vado Posted June 19, 2016 Posted June 19, 2016 On thursday I asked a girl I know from college if she likes to eat at my place, by e-mail. She replied an hour later that it's a great idea, said yes and asked when? On friday I send an e-mail back and asked if she's available next week thursday or friday. She did not send an answer yet, it's now sunday. What would you do? All the communication was by e-mail. It is a bit strange that she was first very enthousiastic and answerd very quick after the first e-mail, but now she doesn't reply. Haven't seen her since, we have holidays. What would you do? Just wait and see. On the other hand, she could at least write she changed her mind if that;s the case and I like to be sure, buy don't want to spoil it by being to needy. If I have apointments with friends, they're always clear if they want to hang out, but unfortunatly I'm straight so I like to meet women in my life and I like this one a lot. 1

Satu Posted June 19, 2016 Posted June 19, 2016 And at tuesday? Send a last e-mail or just let itr go? Yes, send an email. There's nothing wrong with you showing interest.
No_Go Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 No point, if she wanted to go, she'd respond to the e-mail. If I were her and someone phone-pressured me, even if I go, this will not be a date and will be our last interaction most likely... Second e-mail may make sense though... She could have not seen the first one. Use the phone and call her.

I guess I'm not seeing, from your post, any kind of pre-existing interest on her part... all of the interest seems to be one sided--on your side. Perhaps she was never that interested to begin with? Also, she could have realized that the email was from someone else after she responded. That could explain why she's gone silent.
kismetkismet Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 I'd give it until tuesday or so. I rarely check my email on weekends. Do you have her phone number so you could maybe text her or osmehting instead? Email can be a bit impersonal.
