Am I controlling or rightfully mad?

So I've been with this girl for awhile and she started talking to this guy she's known since elementary school. He used to like her and she liked him, they never dated because they didn't know of their mutual feelings. He has a girlfriend and told my girlfriend he finds her attractive, wished he knew she liked him before, wouldn't mind dating her, and a few other flirty things like that, saying he's interested in her. She shut him down, told him she's with me and he shouldn't be talking like that because he has a girlfriend. She continues to talk to him frequently and he regularly tries to get her to go to sushi with him, alone, and she's upset that I'm weird about them hanging out.

 

Am I justified in being upset and wanting her to not hangout with this guy when he's clearly shown his intentions, or should I trust her more to stay faithful to me if he tries anything?

It's never been clear to me wether woman play a double game when gaslighting you about talking to other guys while secretly wanting to know where it could lead, or if they are genuinely only interested in extanding their social circle.

 

However in that case, if a guy unambiguously told a woman he is attracted to her, and she tries to develop a personal relationship with him while she's already in a committed(?) relationship, it means she has poor boundaries.

 

A woman with poor boundaries is all "me me me" and will get mad at you for reminding her that without respect, there is no trust.

Looking at your posting history it looks like you previously suffocated her with interrogations.

I suspect this is just another symptom of that.

 

You said that you were going to break up with her - which looks to me like the best thing for you both.
