A lot of these activities have been me going to various events alone. On Tuesday night, I went to see a one-night showing of "Motley Crue: The End". A film about their last concert on NY's Eve in L.A. that I had the privilege to attend. My ex was supposed to have been there with me. Turns out, it was his huge loss. Lo and behold, right before the "Home Sweet Home" encore, there I was. With two of my two girlfriends. For about three seconds on the big screen. That will never happen again! My friend had been interviewed, but we didn't know if we made the cut. Had my ex been there, he would have been a part of Motley Crue history too. It made me cry good tears. I was there. He wasn't. keiji Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 (edited) Not the same, but my ex-girlfriend really liked Patti Smith's "Horses". That was probably the album we listened to most when we were at mine. Patti's performing "Horses" in its entirety here on July 7th, four days before my ex-girlfriend's birthday. Obviously, that would have been my present for her. I'm going with another ex-girlfriend instead whom she was quite jealous of (for no reason). I didn't do this on purpose, as a revenge. We're just friends now and she really wanted to go. My Ex and I met at a forum meet up years ago for a band, were friends for a long time and he pursued me for years before we were a couple. We are both in the Slash Made in Stoke DVD and have photo's together with Axl Rose, Dj Ashba (who I am sure you have heard of haha ) and many other band members from Guns N' Roses, Velvet Revolver and other variations...because the various bands we loved, we loved together its kind of ruined my love of them as when I am in the wrong type of mood, they just remind me of times we shared. Hang in there Rock sista! we'll get through it!!!
