I am sorry to hear of your bad date AMJ, but I am confused: If you didn't like the guy--and you had plenty of reason to NOT to like him--and if he didn't seem to put any effort, then why did you even kiss him back and let him hold your hand?

As to how to respond to his text just say you didn't click and be done with it. His behaviour sounds so bizarre though, that outright poofing seems ok in this case.

I'm with several of the others on here of too many f-u-cks wasted on your part.

That's a really good question actually. I don't even know why I kissed him back. I might have to think about that one for a minute. He seemed a little pitiful, maybe I did that because he needed encouragement, I don't really know.

And then he sent me a text saying that he didn't think I liked him.

Well you don't. That much is obvious from your posts.

This vaguely reminds me of a date I went on a while ago. This guy was the worst. He was so bland, he was rude to the server because she poured his beer in a glass and demanded a new bottle, he kept talking about his inability to handle dust and that's why he didn't have carpets in his house. He refused to order food, watched me eat alone (it was after work and I needed dinner) he refused my offer to taste it with an exaggerated "OH NO. NO NO." Picked up that he did this because he didn't want to feel responsible for paying for my food. Bill came, I threw down my own money and he took it.

Then guy has the balls to be like, "Hey, can I come back to your place?" He tried to kiss me, I actually pushed him back. Like what??? There was no attraction or impression from my end I even want you near me, why would you even try that?

Went from no attraction, boring as hell, to very weird and creepy.

Who are these people? I've since ended online dating, everyone on there has gone very creepy. Online dating went from taboo, to somewhat normal, to super freaking weird.

---Oh and yes. Never wait close to an hour for anyone ever again. Your time is far too valuable for that. The cap is 15 minutes. If there's no notice, I'm out. And yes, I've gone home from dates before when dudes have been late.
