need some help im not coping well at all my boyfriend of nearly 3 mths i know not long but i got easily attached to him,, im nearly 40 hes 43

 

now, we had so good chemistry alot in common etc , but ive not seen him for 2 weeks as something always busy etc but now he wants me time as i felt he losing interest in me he wont even answer me with this he said i pressuring him for this answer he now saying i dont understand where hes coming from thats he just needs his own company for a while and hes heads stressing him and needs be inside if for a bit i just keep blaming myself for this, but i dont no what ive meant to have done we was fine last time we was in company of each other he said he not breaking up with me 2 days before he wants this me time so ive not spoke or text him for 48 hours now nor has he text me,now all thats going through my mind is dont he miss me, how can he say this not break up

Its pretty clear that you have attachment and abandonment issues.

 

You would be wise to address that in therapy, rather than within the context of this relationship.

 

He feels that you are suffocating him.

 

He has a right to his own separate existence, and the more you try to deprive him of that, the more he will want it.

 

You need to take some deep breaths and a step back.

 

Then find a therapist and work on your issues.

I totally agree with everything Satu has said.

 

It would be best to seek a therapist and give this man some time and distance, if you want to have a strong and healthy relationship.
