Sarah2015 Posted June 14, 2016 Posted June 14, 2016 (edited) The guy I'm dating is European. I live in a large city on the West Coast and for ppl living here, casually dating (often multiple people at the same time) is commonplace. He has mentioned a while back how he usually just focuses on one person at a time and he doesn't identify with the idea of serial dating etc. Meanwhile, we have only seen each other for about a month and a half (5-6 dates) and I am still kind of talking to other guys. If he asked me to become exclusive, I probably would say yes. The thing is, it's not entirely clear if he will ever ask because idk if he just assumes that I am on the same page with him on the issue. He said he likes me a lot and his actions speak for themselves. What should I do? Is it too soon? Edited June 14, 2016 by Sarah2015
bummer Posted June 14, 2016 Posted June 14, 2016 Do you want to be exclusive or just want to accept if he proposes it? Can you give up the other guys today? If you can give up the other guys, just tell him you feel you should be more serious together. If he agrees, happy days. If he disagrees, you can keep dating and talking to other dudes until you're both more ready or it ends. Win win? 1
