Should I text him?

I have a guy friend I am interested in. This was our most recent text conversation this Thursday night.

 

Me: What you up to?

Him: Hey! I just eating dinner. You?

Me: That's late dinner. I'm just home.

Him: Haha yea. I leave for Toronto in 6 hours.

Me: What! To travel?

Him: Just for the weekend. Going to see some friends.

 

And when he got there on Friday afterrnoon, he texted me:

 

Him: Toronto is so chill. Quiet, nice to get away from NY.

Me: Yea NY is too crazy sometimes. It's good to get fresh air.

 

After that, he didn't text me back.

Should I text him? If yes, what is a good text to send him?

What do you expect from the guy?? You never gave him any indication you are interested in him at all. It was a normal quick conversation. You like this guy you need to beef it up and send something flirty like a tease or suggest you hang out ....throw the guy a bone.

You need to ask him questions instead of just sending statements. You don't really sound like you want to keep the conversation going, and he doesn't have much to reply to.

How about: you don't think I really texted you about the weather? In case you where wondering I was dropping a hint.

There's nothing in that conversation that indicates any romantic interest. (On either side)

 

You could say you want to hang out with him when he gets back, and yeah ask him how Toronto is sounds good.
