smackie9 Posted June 11, 2016 Posted June 11, 2016 She is not interested, she was just being nice. It's not a good first impression when your mom is out getting numbers for her son...this would make me run away as fast as I can. it's possible she gave a fake number.

Having your mother help you find a girlfriend typically (correct me if I'm wrong ladies) isn't what most women want. I've found ladies tend to respond positively to men that know what they want and go get it. If you liked the lady find an excuse to bump into her strike up a conversation and then get her number or be told no. Either way you get a definitive answer and move along. Having said that after the no response to your text I'd avoid it and accept that was a polite thanks but no thanks.
