is there any difference between what PUAs (pick up artists) do and men who have not been part of the PUA training scene (the PUA books and video guides).

 

have any girls/women here noticed a difference between approaches by PUAs and non-PUAs?

 

if there are any differences, what are they? are you a PUA or no?

 

I think PUAs manipuate, act out certain tricks, and do not want to be tricked.

 

Tell me what I need to know. Thnx.

From this woman's point of view, the approach of a PUA is to be an arsehole and the non PUA guys are genuine.

 

The PUAs succeed with women who don't expect more for themselves.

It's very easy to avoid them, when they make some backhanded comment that they apparently think is cute, you turn your back and walk away.

A genuine guy will tease but it will be obvious he is teasing. A guy that has learnt this will sound like its from a script and it will come across as just mean.

 

If you feel uneasy at any time when talking to someone just walk away and do not look back.

 

PUA also tend to have that little something "off" about them. They are faking it anyway so no point hanging around. Just walk away.

Some guys need training and for some it just comes naturally. I agree with the above post, the ones that "train" are the ones that come off as fake.

My feeling is that PUA's are people who think that nobody could like them for who they really are, so they employ manipulation in an attempt to solve their imaginary problem.

They are usually quite negative, very easy to spot in my experience. I think I rolled my eyes at the last one.
