After a long marriage and a few subsequent relationships I met a guy a little younger than I who I got on with well and everything seemed OK. Then bang out of the blue he tells me he'd rather like to be a maid, my maid and have me order him about and give him jobs to do.

Guys, really?

Yes.

He is a submissive and is looking for a female Domme. I briefly dated a very high-ranking executive in the automotive industry who wanted to the same thing. I, however, am a sub myself and didn't think I would be a good switch.

There's a guy like that in my city

Has a real thing for it and advertises all over cleaning service websites too.

A long time ago I was looking for employees and he called up saying he had heard of my company but would be more than happy to work under two conditions: I placed him with a certain kind of cleaning client AND REFUSED to pay him.

Quite the fetish. We didn't hire him, obviously.

He really just wanted to clean though and had a lot of references etc.

Is he hot? I could do with a good sub.... Seriously I don't see the problem here. Hand him an apron & rubber gloves and tell him to have dinner ready when you get home. Awesome!

Most ppl don't really ride their kink full time, so there's a pretty good chance that (assuming you really like this guy) if you threw him a 'service bone' to chase once in a while, he'd be satisfied and act kinda normal-ish the rest of the time.

Well, there's someone for everyone..,

If you're not into that then you two aren't a match.

Now literally, does he want to dress up in the maid suit?

Maybe this isn't a full blown kink, but just a natural need/desire to please a woman? I mean, from what I learned, men live to please women (well, real men). I mean, a gentleman holds doors open for a woman...in the bedroom he makes sure she gets hers first.

Maybe you two can meet half way on this?

I'm a very independent woman and it's hard for me to just relax and let a man be a man with me. My last FWB wanted to fix stuff for me, he gave me a few things, he even wanted to re-build my closet and at first I refused, but then I finally let go and it was nice. It felt good to bring him a nice coffee while he would be in the cold working on my vehicle. I think he had some sub in him cuz he was into licking toes/feet and he was married to that Ice Queen for over a decade (where he was abused). So, I don't think he was a "sub" per se, but he's just a guy who wants to please his woman - if he was a sub I think he wouldn't have left Ice Queen ever.

And, this sorta brings up another point - which is, while I see a lot of women responding with the "go girl" attitude...unless you and/or him are really into the fetish, it's not gonna work. My FWB, while he seemed to be sub and liked to please women, after a decade of trying to please the Ice Queen, he got tired of being abused and she lost respect for him. Biology is that men must be stronger, faster, smarter, etc. than us...teeter with those lines and while there are some exceptions to the rule, the rule is there for a reason. That's why I was wondering if you two could reach a "middle ground" where you sweetly whisper to him that you'd love for him to cook, cuz he's so good at it - not "Hey slave, go fix mistress dinner!!!"
