LookAtThisPOst Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 Is anyone here seeing an increased amount of selfie pictures on dating profiles? I've actually seen a woman with 5 to 7 pictures in her gallery ALL selfies from the above angle. Doesn't anyone have a friend that can take a picture of them? 1
MGX Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 It's far easier to take a selfie than to ring someone up to aim a camera at you. Years ago I had professional pictures taken. I didn't have a cellphone then. 1

I still got interest. And the interest significantly spiked when I uploaded a shirtless picture. Don't believe all that you hear. Why are you bothered that a girl uploads selfies anyway? I would get annoyed at the profile pictures that didn't really show the girl, so that I couldn't assess her. Stuff like pictures of her underwater used to really get on my nerves.
JustGettingBy Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 If a woman takes a selfie a whole bunch of times every time you're out with her, yes its annoying. A handful on a dating site though wouldn't bother me. Its an easily accessible way to take some pics without bugging others.
Michelle ma Belle Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 Well I happen to be someone who finds scads of selfies incredibly annoying, especially when they're posed in front of a mirror. I mean, one or two is fine but some people just get ridiculous with it. I was casually dating a guy who was obsessed with selfies and would send me the same stupid pose in the same mirror with same smirk on his face just in different clothes. Every time I got one it made me like him a little less and less. And he was 47!!!! And I get just annoyed when men I barely know start asking me for selfies. I have a few but I'm not going to sit there and start snapping a bunch of pics of myself for anyone, especially on demand. That's why I'm on a dating site...to D.A.T.E. You wanna see me? Then call me up, set a date and I'll be happy to showcase all my duck face poses in person

Michelle ma Belle Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 I know I already posted this on another thread talking about selfies but it's worth reposting... Taking a Lonely 1

When they take it from above their heads, it makes them look thinner and isn't an accurate representation of what their body looks like.

I see your point I just think there are so many more annoying things, that I was really happy to just see a selfie. Seriously, pictures of her kid. Pictures of her underwater. Pictures of her a mile away on the beach at sunset. All of these were common profile pictures on Tinder. But yeah, a good picture from a more objective angle is the best.
