I am always the one texting first. when I text her she responds instantly. even when she texts ( rarely happens) me there is always an excuse to text me. for example in her birthday i sent her a funny picture i made. she replied instantly and she put it as profile picture. 12 hours after she sent me a message saying " hey [] look i put it as profile picture. i mean why can't you talk to me without making excuses.

i remember one day she told me that she never texts people first even her past boyfriends always blame her for not texting first ( she brought the subject on her own I didn't tell her anything about it) because things happened to her in the past. people talked behind their back. she didn't tell exactly what happened

I didn't text her for 5 days in a row. then I sent her a funny voice message. I tried to make a joke about why she never text first. she really liked it and she was really laughing hard. I sent her two voice messages normal ones. it says read but no reply yet it is been 18 hours now.

i texted her one more time about another subject. and she replied instantly and it was a long response and it was obvious that she listened to the voice messages because she reffered to them in the message she sent. I didn't tell her anything about why she didn't text me but she told me she was sleeping the whole day because she was tired what do you think?

I simply do not understand why someone's texting behaviour is now the litmus test for relationship. Texting is not relating, texting is sending meaningless drivel via a mobile phone. If you want a relationship with the girl stop texting her and talk to her face to face, preferably on a date where she realises it's a date. How hard can it be?

That she was sleeping the whole day because she was tired.

It's very early days for you still. If she likes you, she will want to interact with you; relax a little give her time to miss you, though.

She may indulge you in the first few days with replying instantly but there will come a time (soon) when this is going to alienate her; and I speak from lengthy experience.

I've had relationships with someone who liked to get in touch constantly and was expecting immediate replies; while sweet in the first couple of days or so, it would become very overbearing very quickly and I would simply ignore (not cool in retrospect, I know) in order to avoid the constant 'but it only takes a minute of your day to reply back / why don't you care about me' remarks.

I think you should find someone local where you have a chance to meet face to face, date and form a relationship. Have a look at this site for a while and you will discover hundreds of posts by people having a 'texting' relationship with someone they've never met and then surprise, surprise it never turns into a real relationship.

Texting pals is the same as having a pen friend. That's what it is. If you live in different countries and can't even talk on a phone then I seriously doubt there is any potential for things to go further.

Well, she's free to reply whenever she feels like it or has the time; she is not obligated to reply to you within a certain time span and there isn't much you can do about that.

I mean have you hooked up, made out, slept together.

Or is she just some girl you know that you are texting.

i our culture we are nor allowed to sleep together before marriage. but we met several times

Mind if I ask what culture it might help us understand slightly better. For example you're getting advice from Western Countries who have very different dating practices then many middle eastern and Asian Countries.

Why are you always texting a girl first that you want to date but are not dating?

Do yourself a huge favor. Ask her out in the next text you send her. If she makes up an excuse, you are just friends. Now, go find a girl that will say yes to a date.

Arrange another meeting. Women, in general, behave very differently with platonic male friends and those they wish to mate with, regardless of societal prohibitions. The only way to discern this is when pressing the flesh. Sure, you may not have sex but it'll be abundantly clear that she wants to. If other, friends or hoover. If that's not your gig, move on.

Umm, sounds like you're relying too much on texting. How many days a week do you see her and how is your conversation and rapport when you do? If you're not seeing her at least once a week, then sounds like you're not a bf, that's for sure.

I will tell you this, I wouldn't like someone telling me what to do about texting or anything like that. But you just need to spend face time and see if you two get along and get romantic or not, because I sense that if there was ANYTHING real going on here, you wouldn't be harping on the texting thing.
