Quokka Posted May 31, 2016 Posted May 31, 2016 Ex did something weird? If you've read some of my other posts you know what is happening between me and my ex girl. She ended things w me 6 days ago. She gave me the whole my life is really hectic right now and I just can't do this right now as I was smothering her. She told me that she's not saying it won't ever work out but she needs time to herself for a bit. Given she is a single mother and is moving out of her old house and into a new one right now and working 30 hours a week she does have a very hectic life. When she said all of that I told her I don't think she's telling the truth. She said trust me if it was anything else I would tell you. We were together for 3 months and we moved really fast. I met some of her family, hungout with her and her daughter and all the while we genuinely cared about each other. Her friends kept telling me about how much she talks about me. Since the break up, I started no contact. I'm on day 4 even though we broke up 6 days ago. I senf her a message after I cooled off. And was mature and just told her that I'm not interested in friendship. I'm sorry for saying hurtful things when my emotions were high and I understand we may never get back together and I accept that. And that was it. She never replied. We work together at the same place. Which is making this whole no contact thing really tough. However, I put on a front, smile and laugh with all my co workers and genuinely act as if though I could care less. We have both not spoken to each other since we have both been at work at the same time. Today, however, I'm in the back prepping food all day as it's my job title. Waitresses usually always and especially her cut food in the front and stay out of the back. She knew I was back there yet, she started doing some her food prep right beside me. Now we weren't close as in shoulder to shoulder but she obviously could've cut the food where she always does. Neither of us spoke a word to each other. I'm leaving it to her to speak to me because I won't reach out otherwise, I don't want to give her anymore power than what she already has. As I do miss her so terribly. Can anyone give an explanation as to why she would be doing this? And yeah I know it seems like I'm clinging to every little bit signs that she's interested but trust me when I say that she always cuts the food up front.
