Aceventura Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 (edited) I'm mostly writing this to cope for possible rejection. I met this Brazilian exchange student online. We exchanged numbers and were texting one another twice a day for two weeks. I would initiate conversation one day, and she would the next. It got to the point where we were texting how interested we were in each other. Then we had our first date on Saturday of last week. Everything went well. Some awkwardness, but we were able to hold conversation for the entirety of the meal. We took a short walk afterwards, then said good bye and went our separate ways. She was a little more shy than I expected, however I tend to like shy girls. I text her later that night, saying how I enjoyed our dinner. She texted back saying she liked it as well, but the conversation ended short because she said she needed to talk to her family. So I waited another day to text her again. Once more, she said she was busy and would talk to me later. I waited another day to text her, and we asked each other how our day was going but again the conversation had to end short; she said she needed to go make dinner, and would talk to me later. So day four, she hasn't texted me back. She was texting me twice a day before our date, and now I find myself having to initiate. When she says she would talk to me later, she usually does the same day. However since our first day, she hasn't. I'm really eager to ask her out on a second date, however I haven't been given much of a chance to. Is this her way of rejecting me? Or should I wait a few more days to ask her out again? MidwestUSA Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 No matter how short the convo, you should have asked her on a second date with that next day text. Then you'd already have your answer. Start coping now, she's not interested. 1
Author Aceventura Posted May 24, 2016 Author Posted May 24, 2016 Thanks. I figured as much. I have already deleted her from my contacts.
