RyMickle Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 (edited) Hey So i met this girl at a party and she sat next to me because we recognized each other as we attend the same college. We ended up talking and found we had similiar interests in music and other things. I matched with her on tinder couple of weeks later and pretty much continued where we left off from the party previous. We messaged each other back and forth for a few days, got her number, then i decided to ask her out for drinks. She said yes and that it sounded good but wondering if it could wait till after her final exams which at the time were two weeks away, because she would be busy studying. I replied no problem and wished her good luck. However i had this feeling that despite her saying yes she may not really be that interested and maybe letting me down gently. I got the feeling that she didn't want to say no and asked me to wait till after he exams possibly hoping id lose interest (maybe im overanalyzing?) Bumped into her face to face randomly the other day and we spoke for about 5 minutes, it was a bit awkward for both of us but i didn't bring up about the drinks date again. I also seen her today and she waved, smiled and said hi. What do you guys think is she not interested? and should i just move on? Also worth noting im only getting back into seeing girls/dating as im just over a past relationship, so i'm horribly rusty thanks Edited May 24, 2016 by RyMickle
smackie9 Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 First off, don't write anything off. When you interact with her you should be making good eye contact, be easy going, tease her a little, flirt and have light fun conversation. when exams are done you just simply ask her out again. BE POSITIVE
Author RyMickle Posted May 24, 2016 Author Posted May 24, 2016 Well when we spoke first thing i noticed was she made quite strong eye contact i think when i spoke , so i ended up doing the same back. She wasn't in the best of moods however it was kind of late when i bumped into her. That's the issue i've finished college now and have went home for summer. i do have her number and have her as a friend on facebook though.
Shanex Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 Ask for another date, drinks or anything yes. Actions speaks. Plus it could be the beginning of an interesting summer, why not a relationship for the beautiful season?
