katiebour Posted June 24, 2005 Posted June 24, 2005 My ex had a cleft lip and palate as a child, and the multiple surgeries he underwent left him with a slightly lopsided, flattened nose and a surgery scar between his nose and upper lip. The scar went through his lip, and the upper lip was also slightly lopsided since the scar tissue tightened more than the surrounding lip tissue. I saw all of these things as his badge of honor for being tough, physically and mentally. He went through a lot of physical pain and teasing. He also had surgeries to correct an underbite that left him with permanent numbness and nerve damage in his jaw. I always noticed the small physical imperfections, but to me they were reminders of the caliber of man I was with. I found him beautiful and told him so often. Put yourself in your GF's shoes. She has large breasts that do not match up with society's idea of perfection, through no fault of her own. She probably feels self-concious about them. She's not a supermodel- but if she were, would she be dating you? If you love her- tell her that she's beautiful, and often. A woman needs to feel safe, loved and accepted by her man. If you can't give her that, then let her find someone else who will.

Mary3 Posted June 24, 2005 Posted June 24, 2005 I feel sorry for your girlfriend. You can bet she feels your * dislike/disgust * of her breasts. They are a part of her. Sure she can get a breast lift and maybe she has expressed the idea of improving them.... I hope after she gets a breast lift ( if she chooses so ) that she leaves YOU and finds someone very special who loves her unconditionally.
