Bisexual Date arranged by a friend

Hi everyone

 

I have recently become very bi-curious which I've spoke about on this site on a previous thread.

 

I told my best friend yesterday about how I felt. She has thought I was bi or even gay for some time but I always played it down and denied it.

 

She has asked me if id like her to arrange a date with one of her male friends who I know a little bit anyway. However she has told me it would only be a casual meeting but she's sure it would help me know for sure if I was in to men or not?

 

I'm not sure what to do here, a part of me wants to do it, but I'm also thinking this could be a terrible idea. My friend would never do anything to hurt me, I trust her 100% but Its a huge step for me.

 

I would appreciate any opinions?

She's only asking you to casually meet him not marry him. Do you never, ever encounter men out there in the world? What's the big scary deal? No-ones saying you have to have sex with him, he might not even like you.

I have always fantasized about being with a woman and when it finally happened, it left me "meh". As in "really? that's all it is?". It's good to experiment and know if you like it or not. You might get surprised as I did.

 

It made me realize I am really into men and that's it. Might kiss a woman here and there, but my thing is men

I have met the guy today and we got on really well. We met in a social group with friends at a friends house and it made a possible awkward situation a lot easier.

 

He is a really nice bloke and he's good looking, but most importantly he has no problems with me being intersex which was a relief, however he might change his mind if he ever seen me naked.

 

Because I don't do going out in social places due to my condition he is coming to my flat on Tuesday for something to eat.

 

I'm still unsure about how I feel but this is one step closer to finding out. So I'm pretty excited to be honest.

Hi, yes I feel ok, its just nice he accepted me, well he said he did and my friend who knows him really well has said he likes me, and she wouldn't lie to me. So all positives.

 

It feels weird talking about a guy like this and I'm not sure what to expect or how its going to work out but I feel I'm moving in the right direction and at least giving it a go.
