Alamo657 Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Hello, I'm in my mid 30, and i've adopted a stance of being rather straightforward in telling a woman i'm attracted during/after the second date if there was no kiss, instead of tiptoing around and enter the "let's be friends first in hope of something more" game which i particularly dislike and grew tired of. I do this because too many woman nowadays are like "i didn't see it coming" "i thought you just liked me as a friend" but still accept dates. Thoughts ?
salparadise Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 I agree. The "friends first" game is a serious time waster. It's usually young, immature guys that get lured into that quagmire. The best strategy is to make your intentions clear, but be respectful at the same time. The only thing is that sometimes they use that term when they're only feigning demure, so you may need to push a bit to figure that out. If they really do expect to start you out in the friendzone and treat you like a puppy dog, next them quickly and move on.

Yes that's why i've been acting like this when the "kiss me" signals are unclear (which result in a "kiss that cheek" moment), or absent. Anything is better than being the puppy-ego-validating-doggy of a woman you didn't sleep with.

It's only common sense that if a man wants to meet a woman he might actually be compatible with for a long relationship, that he would be himself up front because if you don't show someone who you are, you cannot find anyone who is a match.
