FeelingAgain Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 My ex sent me a package of my stuff today dated a few days ago. There was a small note in it, describing how she'll always love me and stating how she's been a mess. Feeling her break ties with me (opposed to the other way around) is spectacularly disheartening. I'm stuck at work now so I can't let my emotions flow for a few hours, but I feel my heart aching. I love her, but we had so many irreconcilable differences. We just can't be together and it's making me want to explode. How can I handle this, guys? she's moving soon and I don't know how to get her stuff to her other than traveling an hour and handing it to her. she hasn't asked me for it but I can't bring myself to throw it away

How i did it was i gave my ex's stuff to his sister so i wouldnt have to visit his home and see him. if there are no one else you can give it to that will give it to her, you should leave it in front of her house. once you are in your car and about to drive away, text her one last time and let her know that her stuff is at the door. these are only suggestions. Giving back my ex's belongings helped me feel a little relief, i no longer held any possessions of his and it cuts the hurt to half because i dont really have anything that will remind me of him. however we lived together for a few years and the room we rented, i am still renting it out. its hard to be in, tbh thats why im rarely home. good luck in whatever you decide to do.
