Linlin Posted June 21, 2005 Posted June 21, 2005 I finally had a 3rd date with my customs broker boy. Our 2nd date was 6 weeks ago. It would have been sooner, but I had surgery and have been out of commission for a bit. That is why I have been off the LS for a bit too. We still email each other 3-4 week. I called him after my operation and we talked for an hour. Then on Friday he called my cell and left a message for me to call him at work and we talk for another 1/2 hour. I asked him when he was coming to see the house and he said Monday. So he came over for dinner last night. We had a great time per usual. We did end up in bed together but we have slept together already. He asked me when I was free again and I said Saturday but you aren't. He is gone away that day. But we didn't set up another time yet. He said that he would talk to me today but I haven't heard from him yet. But that is OK and I am not panicing about that. What should my next step be with him? Should I wait for him to call or email me first? He brought me his baseball schedule to I could come to a game. Should I wait a couple of days and then say to him that I could stop by his game next Wed.? Also, I mentioned I had a wedding to go to on July 30th and he said he was free that day. Do you think that was a hint to me that he would like to go? Dating with him isn't just simple. We both have kids so it is hard to coordinate schedules. We are both involved in sports that we are committed to schedules as well. Also we live 40 minutes by car apart. What do you think guys? I am trying not to screw this up.

That is what I say when I specifically don't want to tell the girl I'll call her, either because I don't want to, or because I wanted to be on her mind. Although my preferred phrase is "I'll talk to you LATER or SOON," I think he was purposely leaving it ambiguous. His reason for doing so is impossible to guess, without more.
