TheArtist Posted May 11, 2016 Posted May 11, 2016 Every time he falls asleep put it in increasingly hilarious places. Buy it a pet food bowl and leave it alongside it for when he wakes up, or shampoo it with extra conditioner then put it back on him. Why not let him catch you buffing his car with it while whistling a merry tune? 3

Author sazz8888 Posted May 11, 2016 Author Posted May 11, 2016 Wow guys thanks for all the replies!! There's a few things - we live 1 hour from each other so only see each other at the weekends so maybe that's why I havnt noticed it before! I want to bring it up on the phone to avoid any awkwardness...is that mean? I'm just going to ask him outright!! But I will be sensitive

I want to bring it up on the phone to avoid any awkwardness...is that mean? I'm just going to ask him outright!! But I will be sensitive I vote for talking to him in person--just so he can get the non-verbal communication from you (70-80%) so you can show him you are being sensitive. But i do think asking him outright is the way to go. Good luck 2
jen1447 Posted May 11, 2016 Posted May 11, 2016 Yeah, in person. On the phone will seem like you're hiding. Main thing is just be good-natured and reassuring. (My personal best route to that would be thru humor but pick your own path.) 2

Haydn Posted May 13, 2016 Posted May 13, 2016 What if it`s not a wig but really his hair! Any updates? 1
ChickiePops Posted May 13, 2016 Posted May 13, 2016 What if it`s not a wig but really his hair! Any updates? I had the same thought!! What if he just had glue in his hair or something... Truthfully, I don't see the big deal. Why can't you ignore it OP? I had some skin issues when I was younger and I refused to let anyone see me without make up..I would literally reapply it before bed if I was staying with my boyfriend at the time. Eventually I got over it and he will too. Let him tell you in his own time..he's embarrassed! Oh and as soon as I stopped wearing make up at night, my skin cleared up. Imagine that... My boyfriend smokes..he's embarrassed about that. On our third date, he cooked for me at his apartment and I saw an empty pack of cigarettes at the top of the garbage can in his kitchen but he didn't officially come out with it until about 2 months into our relationship. When he told me I just laughed and said I knew already, and he laughed too, at how silly he had been to think I wouldn't notice. Then it was over. It's not a life or death thing..let him have his secret. 1
jen1447 Posted May 13, 2016 Posted May 13, 2016 What if it`s not a wig but really his hair! Any updates? Who was it who was pulling on someone's real hair thinking it was a wig in the movies, Austin Powers? 1
Haydn Posted May 13, 2016 Posted May 13, 2016 I still maintain the `quiff` but i do collect every strand that falls and keep them in a box. If my daughters give me a grand child, i intend to get out the box and hand it down like some gruesome heir/hair loom. ChickiePops-I`ll go with the glue theory. Jen-I think it was Austin Powers. I hope we have an update soon..... 2

Author sazz8888 Posted May 13, 2016 Author Posted May 13, 2016 UPDATE! So I spoke to him on the phone last night and felt a bit insensitive about bringing it up on the phone.. I'm seeing him tomorrow so I will post an update when I do it! P.s. it def is a hairpiece as i saw a bottle of adhesive cleaner for men in his kitchen cupboard
Porter56 Posted May 13, 2016 Posted May 13, 2016 Be careful. Men are very sensitive about this. Simply put...having a full head of thick hair is better than being/going bald. It's generally considered more attractive. I know the standard response of "it doesn't bother me. I love you for you and you're sexy to me" doesn't help really. I hate to say this but...men want to be considered sexy in a more objective sort of way to the general population of women. Sorry... 1
hasaquestion Posted May 13, 2016 Posted May 13, 2016 Who was it who was pulling on someone's real hair thinking it was a wig in the movies, Austin Powers? She's a man baby! 2

If he wanted to tell you, he would. You have your answer already, why not just drop it and let him tell you if and when he feels comfortable? 1
Jabron1 Posted May 14, 2016 Posted May 14, 2016 There are only 2 wigs that are okay for a man to wear in my opinion: Either this: http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/61e5pTg7JyL._UL1034_.jpg or this: http://hollywood-media-uk.r.worldssl.net/images/products/1200x1200/b/n/bnov-bw643-afro-wig-super-jimmy_1.jpg Anything else is completely unacceptable.
