Are a turn off. Not sure if they understand they act that way or if they get off on being bossy. But no guy wants to be around folks who are super bossy. Can some women share why some ladies act like this. Do they even want a relationship?

For the purposes of this discussion, what is the definition of a "bossy woman" with which we're working?

I've been called bossy practically all my life. I'm a well educated woman who knows my own mind. I have always been a high wage earner in a made dominated industry. I have to be self confident to do my job & more often then not I am the "boss" in any situation especially at work; even volunteer efforts I'm asked to chair the committee or head the project because I get things done. I can't just turn it off & become a meek little mouse to avoid hurting some guy's ego.

As I was looking for a mate, one of things I always said I wanted was a man who was strong enough to let me be weak. For the most part I run around & plan the social life for DH & me. He's just fine with that because I am most comfortable being in charge & I'm more efficient at it then most. However, when I need help, I know he's right there to support me or pick up the pieces.

If a woman like that doesn't fit into your world view, don't date one. There are plenty of women who will be happy to let you take the lead.
