Could my boyfriend be secretly in love with me, but is too afraid to say it?

He is always saying things like.."I give you so much of my love" or "im giving you my loving"

I told him I wanted to travels soon and then he said we should elope... i changed the subject.

 

He said a few months back he's not ready to say I love you and I am not either, but for someone who isn't ready he says love a lot. He also wants me to travel 19 hrs with him all the way to British Columbia to visit his folks for a whole week.....

Any reason why you are over analysing this....to death? What does it matter if he is there in the love zone before you? Are you looking for an escape mechanism or something. He's asking you to do those things because he likes you. What's to ponder, analyse and make internet posts over?

People put too much value on words.

If you love him, tell him how you feel and see if he reciprocates. If you don't love him then I don't she a problem.

Especially if he has never said ILY to somebody it is a BIG step. Let him get there on his own time. It seems by his words & deeds he's headed in that direction
