supergirl7777 Posted June 20, 2005 Posted June 20, 2005 My ex and i broke up about 4 months ago, a month after we broke up he already had a gf, i know that's why he wanted out in the relationship. It has been hard for me, but i am so proud of myself because i am slowly getting over him, i can walk with my head up high and this thanks to God and all of you. His friend told me that he wanted to talk to me (my ex), he wanted to call and congradulate me on my graduation and all, but i told his friend that i said thanks but that i didnt want to talk to him because i respect the fact that he has a gf and that i didnt want to start any problems, so i feel proud of myself, i know God has someone out there for me, it's still hard on me but it's a healing process. Luv Yah all, thanks.
ValenciaOranges Posted June 21, 2005 Posted June 21, 2005 Congrats on acting like a mature adult! Alot of people on here wish they had the courage to do what you've done. They always come crawlin' back - especially if you refuse to chase them and you act like you don't care. Nothing gets under someones skin worse than when they are being a player and you just go "Ok, go for it but you can't have me anymore - I'm outta here". It's a shock - when whoever they're screwin around with gets old - the come a runnin' back to ya! This is when you can sit back and enjoy making them feel like the scum that they are - don't give them the time of day..........move on with your life and leave them wondering.
whichwayisup Posted June 21, 2005 Posted June 21, 2005 Don't talk to him! You've gone so far without him in your life. Talking to him is just going to drudge up past feelings, hurt, anger and some resentment too. You don't owe him anything. Nothing! Nada! Zilch! Stick with NC, tell him you're not interested in what he has to say. Unless you want him back? Would you take him back? These are questions you have to ask yourself because if it isn't that, then what does he really want? It's not worth opening yourself up again to find out... Just my thoughts on this, whatever you decide, just really think what YOU are going to get out of this.
