justanickname Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 Hello, Recently I had a meet up with a guy for practising foreign language. We hadnt met before and set up online. For me it started as "meet up" or could be "hang out", and I was ready to pay for my drink. However, by the end of the meet-up, he insisted to pay for it. We had a very nice conversation and I kind of liked him, but for now nothing more. We decided to keep contact but just as "acquainted" and I dont know when we would meet again. Anyway, I am curious, in your opinion, did he try to be kind or well, dont know, "a date"??? How do you define a date anyway, comparing to "hang-out"? Thanks.
smackie9 Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 If it was a date he would have asked you out to see you again. I think he was just being a gentleman. 1
Author justanickname Posted May 11, 2016 Author Posted May 11, 2016 I guess you are right. He asks me out, but actually it is a short excursion with one or two his co-workers. Anyway, once he told me he is looking for a girlfriend out of the blue. But it is too weak to say he is into me.
