Matildax Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Me and a guy who were really close for a while we spoke everynight saw each other skyped etc and everything was going great until we had an argument that got out of hand really I was dealing with grief and I took it out on him and I blocked him on everything and I really miss him now it's been about 5 weeks and I'm scared if I try to talk to him he will reject me
basil67 Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 You've not given us much to go on. Perhaps the argument was about something which is a deal breaker for you?
Author Matildax Posted May 1, 2016 Author Posted May 1, 2016 No a family member died and I wasn't myself I was obviously grieving and we argued about stupid things and I wasn't in the right frame of mind so I said some nasty things then blocked him
d0nnivain Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 You will never know unless you try. Reach out. Apologize. See what happens. 1
basil67 Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 No a family member died and I wasn't myself I was obviously grieving and we argued about stupid things and I wasn't in the right frame of mind so I said some nasty things then blocked him I'm so sorry for your loss. I guess you can try apologising, but you'd need to come up with a better explanation than this. When making an apology, you need to take full responsibility for your actions. All of us have lost loved ones, but grief doesn't justify saying horrible things to other loved ones. But before you apologise, consider what you were fighting over. So frequently I hear of 'stupid' arguments which are actually related things which are indicative of serious incompatibility.
