Mckarsafra Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 A coworker who happens to be pretty attractive messaged me on a dating site. I do not know her well. I've seen her around, but I've never had a conversation with her directly aside from "hi." She's sort of a part timer in one of our departments. How should I handle this? This is a bit different than your usual dating site encounter considering professional entanglements.
Author Mckarsafra Posted April 29, 2016 Author Posted April 29, 2016 (edited) Say hi back????? Obviously, but I'm referring more to the pace of things after that. Should I ask her to lunch, or get her number and ask for a straight-up date? Edited April 29, 2016 by Mckarsafra
smackie9 Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 Start a bit of a conversation first. Then ask her out/get number for drinks or something. Serious interest you go out at night, lunch is for friends. 1
Zippy2000 Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 Do you like her? I had a colleague from work I messaged but didnt know it was her with all her make up on. There was nothing in it in the end. Sometimes people are just being friendly. You just need to find out their real intentions. Maybe she likes you more than being a work colleague.
