Josphina Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 I like this guy and we kissed for the first time. It was like a really awkward cheek kiss and then lip kiss. I was quite shy and it wasn't a great kiss. Would you as a guy be put off? He really likes me 1
Arieswoman Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 No, I wouldn't be put off. Sounds like he's a bit shy and doesn't want to rush things. Sounds good.
d0nnivain Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 You are overthinking this. The guy was probably so happy there was a kiss at all he wasn't assessing the quality. As nervous as you were, assume he had his own anxieties. 1
Author Josphina Posted April 28, 2016 Author Posted April 28, 2016 Thank you for your replies! That's reassuring. He is really sweet, he picked me up from the airport as a surprise (we have been on two dates). He took me to my place outside the door. We hugged for a long time and then he kissed my forehead my cheeks and then my lips gently. I hope that our second kiss will be much better (I will have brushed my teeth properly then!! Hahaha) As long as u guys sure he isn't put off by my bashfulness I can sleep okay tonight.
jen1447 Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 I actually find shyness to be cute tbh. As long as it's not paralysis. You'll either find your kissing groove or not much later, not on the first kiss. That's really just a "nice to meet you" in kissing language. 1
preraph Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 No, because first kisses can be awkward, but if the next one isn't confident and long and sexy, THAT would make me walk.
Author Josphina Posted April 29, 2016 Author Posted April 29, 2016 How to make it long and sexy? :-/ the next time I am seeing him is to see him off at the airport. Do you think I should kiss him in public like that?

Do you think I should kiss him in public like that? no josphina dont kiss him like that in public....if you are shy let him lead the kiss...and considering the first kiss was a gentle lip kiss...i wouldnt be going for it in public on the second if not third if not fourth date...he sounds like a nice guy so keep it sweet warm and tender...soft.........long and sexy is for when you get your groove on together after you know each other a lot better, and personally its a kiss that should not be in public places..its meant to be shared and enjoyed by two ...not four hundred..best wishes..deb
Author Josphina Posted April 29, 2016 Author Posted April 29, 2016 Phew! That's a relief, was thinking I had to engage in a lot of PDA at the airport haha. I hope we could go somewhere quiet at the airport... Not the most romantic place but that's the next time I will see him
d0nnivain Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 There are very few quiet places in an airport. However, airports are filled with PDA with people saying hello & goodbye. As far as public places go, an airport is not all that offensive for PDA. It's not like it's the middle of the mall. No I don't think YOU should engage in a long passionate kiss with your new guy at the airport only because that is not your style and it would be kind of a bittersweet not very romantic place for that kind of kiss. Do give him a big hug & a sweet soft little kiss -- a tease, a hint, a promise of what's to come when he returns. 1

I love your advice about the sweet soft little kiss :-) He is French so he is super romantic and amazing so far. Taking it slowly. He's been texting and calling me everyday since we met a month ago, and we have only been on two proper dates, and him surprising me at the airport 1
