Keepingitreal Posted April 25, 2016 Posted April 25, 2016 Hi all! New to this forum. Have a question that perhaps you guys can help shed some light on. A little background info: I have been with my BF for a little over two months. Things have going great so far. He is very attentive. Even spent this past weekend working on my yard. Now, this is what happened last night after he left my house. He texted me and we were texting back and forth. He said something clever and so I commented back with the following: "I love your mind". He then sent me a grimacing emoji. I don't know why, but it seemed like an odd emoji to send. Maybe I'm reading too much into it? Also, he normally will send me an good morning text. He didn't do that this morning. He hasn't texted me at all today. We did make plans last night to get together for dinner tonight after he gets home from the gym. My question to you guys is this: do you think he may have misunderstood the "I love your mind". I didn't mean it in an "I love you" way. It's like sayin "I love chocolate." How would you guys interpret what I texted? Thanks for your input!
Shanex Posted April 25, 2016 Posted April 25, 2016 Maybe he thought you were being snarky ? I love your mind.(?) Maybe he thought you were yanking his chain... and he didn't like it? Strange story. Or else he's busy with other things and you are a tad impatient.
